Stolle dressing plates with ribs are made from dense special cast iron with added steel. The wearproof surface is shaved or milled, the side surfaces machined at right angles.
drawing of a dressing plate with ribs in cross-section The arrangement of the ribs guarantees high stability, which means that with the proper bedding, the plates can be used universally as dressing, welding or installation plates. T-slots or drill holes can be worked in on request.
A sound-absorbing version of the dressing plates is also available, whereby an insulating compound is poured into the rib fields which are then closed from below with a wooden board.
Recommendation
We recommend sub-frames of the type UU or bedding on trestles for set-up.
