Spring Systems

Oscillation isolation for plant

Because high inertia forces are released on test stands, the resultant vibrations can be transferred to surrounding buildings. In order to protect the people who work in the immediate vicinity and prevent damage to buildings and foundations, the systems must be fitted with suitable vibration isolation.

Test stand plates can also be mounted on seismic mass bearings to neutralize the generated oscillations of buildings.

Stolle offers different spring systems, depending on the frequencies and loads that occur:

Elastomer Springs
For the vibration-insulated erection of test stands (e.g. hydropulse test stands) at over 7 Hz.

Trestle Type VSD

Straightening element Type RS 30
with elastomer springs

Steel Spring Isolators
For simple vibration isolation without level regulating of natural frequencies of 2 to 6 Hz.

Steel spring isolator

Vibration isolator P80

Pneumatic Springs
For particularly low natural frequencies with pneumatic, mechanical or electronic level regulation: rolling lobe belts, bellows cylinder or membrane air springs.

Rolling lobe belt for the bedding of large foundations with a natural frequency of 1.3 to 1.6 Hz.

Bellows cylinder for the bedding of engine and drive unit test stands for frequencies of 2.3 – 3,7 Hz.

Membran air springs
Membrane air springs provide a high level of horizontal spring stiffness and adjustable pneumatic springing.

Membrane air spring
for frequencies of 1.7 to 2.4 Hz.
